Just starting HvV again and I can’t help but have a goofy grin on my face watching all the players be introduced. There are just so many icons playing and amazing gameplay to come. It just warms my heart and makes me appreciate this timeless show so many years later. HOWEVER, even though HvV was a prototype for a lot of these newer seasons, it’s still really good (and not overrated). There are some great character moments with Coach, Colby, JT, Stephanie etc…. It was only one of 5 Survivor seasons I've seen live - among others were BvW, USA 42, 43 and SA return of the outcasts. BvW, 42, 43 were abysmal. SA roto was the best experience out of the 5, even though it was boring after the merge.
