Jun 12, 2012 · Throughout the life of the P-series 45, Ruger has had only two major magazine types. The 7rd and the 8rd. The seven round magazine uses a poly, anti-tilt follower and the 8 round magazine uses a Devel stainless follower. The 8 round body has had dimples added to the feed lips and the front notch size increased.
