Makoto's confidant is def not good, I fast forward it every time since my first playthrough. Ann's isn't that much better tbh, it's just them dealing with annoying NPCs. I think both of these confidants get a bad rap for this, almost every confidant in P5 has you dealing with a 3rd NPC giving the confidant a difficult time.
