The pattern doesn't drop randomly from wellspring, to get it you have to fully complete all of the evidence board quests at the enclave until you get the last one, called REVERSE-LURE. After completing that it should just give you the exotic pattern.

It's a rare drop but you only ever need 1, it's not like you need to get 3 patterns before you can craft the glaives. It took me about 30 runs to get mine. If it helps, you don't need to run hunter to get the hunter glaive pattern.I'm pretty sure they stated that you'll be able to just buy the other exotic glaive patterns once you get your first, but I forget when it's supposed to happen.
