60 posts · Joined 2007. #1 · May 9, 2019. Ok, here's the full rundown... About two years ago my FPR went bad. Truck would barely run at idle and was just a dog in limp mode with SES light. No question it was bad. Replaced it, and all was well. In March, just two months ago, P0090 pops up again.

Cranks, no start. Feb 13, 2012 · Ok so Saturday I'm gettin ready to leave work, had moved the truck around to the wash bay, cleaned it up, brought it inside to do detailing on it. get done with that, start it and throws CEL and defaulted to max rail pressure. cleared codes in the truck, light instantly came back on. checked the fault codes and found the only code was p0090 for fuel pressure control circuit. LBZ unshakeable p0045 p0090. So, got my first duramax and have been chasing a turbo issue. Got some codes and ended up pulling the turbo and giving the vanes a good deep clean, put it back together and they were nice and smooth. I still had the codes so I swapped the VPS and the solenoid with known good ones.mijdirtyjeep. You need to fix the source of the problem.
