Dr. Matthew Latacha, 47, was riding south on N 252nd St when he was rear-ended by a driver around 10:15 a.m. Rescue crews performed lifesaving measures on Latacha before pronouncing him dead at the scene of the accident. It is unclear if the driver will be charged with the crash. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
